INDONESIA: Watchdog Claims Clothing Workers “Exploited”
Clothing and textile manufacturers in Indonesia have been slammed by an international workers' watchdog for refusing to implement a new minimum wage policy. The Brussels-based International Textile, Garment and Leather Workers' Federation blasted the Employers' Association of Indonesia (Apindo) after it filed a lawsuit to protest against the new minimum wage.
