ITALY: Footwear Manufacturer Posts Revenue Jump
Leading Italian footwear producer, Andrea Montelpare, on Thursday reported a 20 per cent jump in annual turnover to 26 million euros ($22.8m) in 2001, compared to the year ago period. Managing director Andrea Montelpare said in a statement he expects turnover to increase by between 15 and 20 per cent in 2002, and added that the company exports about 75 per cent of its products to the United States, Europe, and the Middle and Far East.
