ITALY: Fratelli Piacenza To Weave Chinese JV
Long-established Italian wool and cashmere weaving company Fratelli Piacenza has revealed it is in talks with a Chinese clothing maker about the setting up of a joint venture in China. The Pollone-based company, which employs around 200 people and last year saw its turnover grow almost 13 per cent to 40 million euros, said it expects to agree terms on the JV before the end of this year.
