JAPAN: Teijin To Boost Aramid Fibre Output?
Japanese fibre giant Teijin Ltd plans to increase its global aramid fibre production capacity by 15 per cent to 23,500 metric tons a year by 2006 at a cost of about 10 billion yen, it was reported on Monday. The Nihon Keizai Shimbun newspaper said the firm plans to establish a new production line at its plant in the Netherlands which will boost that factory's annual output to 21,500 metric tons by 2006.
