Swedish fashion chain KappAhl has named former Lindex acting chief Elisabeth Peregi as its new CEO and president.
Peregi has “solid leadership and retail experience” from her 19-years at Lindex, and will take up her new position during the spring of 2019.
“I am very pleased to welcome Elisabeth Peregi to KappAhl. With her wide expertise and industry experience, she has what it takes to successfully lead KappAhl through the rapid development of our industry,” says Anders Bülow, chair of KappAhl’s board.
During her tenure at Lindex, Peregi has served as acting president and CEO, and previously as chief financial officer, head of franchise operations and country manager of Norway. Most recently she served as country manager of Sweden and Great Britain.
“KappAhl is a strong brand and I am looking forward to leading the company to new successes together with my new colleagues,” she says.
KappAhl was founded in Gothenburg in 1953 and today operates 370 KappAhl and Newbie stores, including Shop Online, in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Poland, and Great Britain.
