KolAi Denim’s latest AI plugin enables users to create high-quality dry process templates for 3D design software such as Clo3d, V-Stitcher, and Tuka3d.

The AI plugin allows 3D denim designers to open images of garments in Photoshop, automatically extracting dry process details in a 3D-compatible format, significantly reducing design time.

Since entering the denim market in 2021, KolAi has claimed to be the “first and only” AI-driven tool to offer denim-specific design capabilities.

Back in March, KolAi Denim offered a free training programme and certification for all laser designers as it believed KolAi Denim certified designers would have more of an upper hand for unparalleled success.

Participants gained complimentary access to the free certification programme and once they completed the course, designers received a certificate of completion indicating their proficiency in crafting laser designs with KolAi.

Last year the online platform released version 2.5 of KolAi Designer which generated laser designs with multiple layers, separating whiskers, thigh abrasion, and texture. This technology update enabled easier customisation and enhanced the design’s 3D look and realism, setting a new standard for brands and manufacturers that want to create quality laser designs quickly and easily.
