NEW ZEALAND: Glenside Clothing Faces Axe After Kathmandu Snub
Dozens of jobs will be lost with the closure of a clothing manufacturer after leading New Zealand outerwear label Kathmandu moved part of its production operations to China. Whangarei-based apparel maker Glenside Clothing said it would close this month with the loss of 28 jobs after Kathmandu opted to purchase wet-weather clothing from overseas as part of its drive to reduce costs.
