Scientists in New Zealand are seeking business partners to help commercialise a range of new wool fabrics being showcased for the first time today (20 September) at New Zealand Fashion Week 2010.
The fabrics, developed by AgResearch, have been used by ten leading New Zealand fashion designers to create the AgResearch Fashion Collection.
Materials include a reversible two-colour wool fabric that is produced in a single dyeing; an anti-odour and antistatic next-to-skin wool fabric with permanent properties; and a modified wool fabric dyed to produce exceptionally bright, intense colours.
