PORTUGAL: Menswear Exports To Spain Jump 30 Per Cent
Portuguese clothing manufacturers saw menswear exports to Spain jump 30 per cent to 487.5 million euros ($429.1m) in 2000, compared to the previous year, industry officials announced on Monday. The Portuguese Centre for Applied Textile Studies said that volume of exports, which included items such as shorts, trousers and coats, accounted for 16.7 per cent of Spain's total menswear imports.
