PRADA Group joins leaders from high-fashion brands, platforms, and retailers such as Burberry, Brunello Cucinelli, Mulberry, Stella McCartney and Gabriela Hearst.

The Task Force’s mission is to foster action-oriented solutions across the fashion industry to accelerate the transition towards a more sustainable future.

The Fashion Task Force, established in 2021, has been pushing for tangible progress in many areas including introducing the Digital Product Passport (DPPs) at the G20 summit in Rome and initiatives focused on regenerative agriculture in regions such as the Himalayas and Apulia, Italy.

Federico Marchetti, a technology entrepreneur and sustainable fashion pioneer who chairs the Fashion Task Force said: “We are thrilled to welcome Prada Group and Lorenzo Bertelli to our action-oriented Fashion Task Force. Lorenzo and I share the same passion for customer centricity and innovation, and Prada is an excellent fit with a cohesive group of leading brands who are striving for one shared purpose: fashion in harmony with Nature”.

Lorenzo Bertelli, head of corporate social responsibility at Prada Group, echoed this sentiment and added: “We are honoured to be part of this coalition and to contribute by sharing our experience in the field of traceability. Building on everyone’s valuable expertise and trying to achieve common goals in sustainability, is a productive way to face today’s complexity and to constantly improve”.

Prada Group’s inclusion in the Fashion Task Force is poised to drive change and accelerate progress across existing focus areas and beyond.
