Matching the recycled inputs is intended to remove the need for overdyeing after spinning, which Recover said can reduce processing time, environmental impacts and material costs compared with conventional recycled cotton blends.
The range is available in solid, heather and mélange options and is designed to provide the durability and comfort associated with cotton-polyester blends while using recycled inputs.
Recover co-CEO and chief product officer Enes Adak said: “With Recover One, we are making it easier for brands and manufacturers to use recycled materials at scale. By combining our recycled cotton with recycled polyester, we deliver a consistent blend that simplifies production and helps reduce costs. This brings sustainability and business value together.”
The company said the new fibre blend range extends the environmental benefits of its recycled cotton and achieves further reductions by removing the need for overdyeing.
Life-cycle assessments for Spain and Bangladesh, verified by EcoReview in 2022 and 2025, indicate that Recover’s recycled cotton fibre can lower water usage by up to 99.9% and cut carbon emissions by up to 93% compared to conventional cotton fibre.
The company said Recover One offers a scalable option that balances environmental considerations with operational practicality amid the growing legislative and industry demands for recycled materials.
