REPUBLIC OF IRELAND: Sioen Cuts 13 Jobs In Donegal
Belgian protective clothing company Sioen is reported to have laid off 13 people at its plant in Derrybeg, Co Donegal, and has put the remainder on short time working. The decision was taken after the company, which is backed by Udaras na Gaeltachta and employs 100 people at the industrial estate in Derrybeg, failed to secure expected orders from An Post and Eircom says a report on Business Plus Online.
