ROMANIA: Israel’s Argaman Industries Buys Stocking Maker
Israeli textile company Argaman Industries has bought a 97 per cent stake in Romanian stocking manufacturer Adesgo for $235,000 from Belgian sock producer Bonneterie Bosteels de Smeth. Argaman, which specialises in the dyeing, printing and finishing of woven and knitted fabrics, said it plans to enter the lucrative US and UK markets with Adesgo - it currently exports to Poland, Belgium, Germany and Israel.
