RUSSIA: Firm Wins Lucrative Protective Clothing Deal
Russian firm Ener Gokontrakt has begun production of the next generation of protective clothing for power plant workers after winning an order worth up to $4 million from the EES ROSSII energy company. The company said that in 2002 it aims to produce up to 12,000 protective suits which have been designed in conjunction with the Du Pont company and are made of Nomex fire-resistant fabric using fire-proof appliances.
