Source Fashion is gearing up for its July event which will feature producers from 30 countries including newcomers from South Asia and Africa.

“We are proud to bring the world’s best manufacturers and material providers under one roof,” said Suzanne Ellingham, sourcing director at Source Fashion. “Feedback highlights the immense value for visitors in meeting so many international manufacturers and suppliers face-to-face.”

Kualesa Apparel is the show’s first-ever Malaysian manufacturer. The bamboo apparel brand offers flexible minimum order quantities and a mission to challenge fast fashion.

“Source Fashion presents a great opportunity to meet leading brands and retailers,” explained Kualesa founder and CEO Ariff Faisal. “It’s a big help for our mission to make the world more comfortable.”

Another first for the show is Nigerian manufacturer Beyond Clothing which is representing the emerging African sourcing market. “We’re proud to showcase the exceptional quality craftsmanship that defines Beyond Clothing on the global stage,” said founder Prince Arthur Oche. “Our goal is to expand globally, finding new markets around the world and we believe Source Fashion is the perfect platform.”

The Philippines is also increasing its presence with Fairs and More Inc. returning for a third year to the July edition with a pavilion of Filipino manufacturers.

“The UK is very important now to the Philippines. We had a very good show (in February) with some enquiries from some boutique owners and meetings with John Lewis, M&S and Next. This is really a game-changer,” said Dawn Cabigon of Fairs and More.

While showcasing up-and-coming regions, July Source Fashion will also continue to host established European and Asian exhibitors.

This includes over 25 UK producers, as well as apparel suppliers from France, Italy, Spain and a strong Portuguese contingent such as textile manufacturers Ttantos, FLM and SMSenra.

Major pavilions from sourcing powerhouses China, India and Türkiye are confirmed, alongside reprised exhibitions from mature players like Tunisian integrated manufacturer Texpro Corp, who specialises in denim and flat garment manufacturing.

“We offer the reassurance that every exhibitor has been audited to ensure responsibility and transparency,” said Ellingham. “So if you find a new maker from an emerging region, you can feel confident they’ll make it through your auditing and due diligence practices.”

Source Fashion predicts the July edition will be its largest show yet with a line-up of over 350 makers and manufacturers and an increased emphasis on UK manufacturers.
