Neuthread will serve as Source Fashion’s charity and design partner for the next year, focusing on connecting brands, manufacturers, retailers and sustainability leaders to promote practical solutions to textile waste.
Neuthread, which is operated by the autism and neurodiversity charity Daisy Chain, produces fashion collections using donated, surplus and reclaimed textiles. It supports both environmental sustainability and social objectives.

The circular fashion brand is known for its approach to circular fashion, showing how waste materials can be reused in commercially viable products. It also provides learning and employment opportunities for autistic and neurodivergent individuals.
In 2024, Neuthread became the first charity-led fashion label to present a scheduled runway show at London Fashion Week. The brand subsequently secured £1.5m from The National Lottery Community Fund, supporting a circular fashion manufacturing facility in North East England and the skills academy programme Mend It Don’t Rag It.
The Source Fashion partnership will see Neuthread headline the Source Catwalk at the July 2026 edition, presenting its collections three times daily.
Catwalk showcases will feature alongside trend-led presentations from other Source Fashion exhibitors. The intention is to demonstrate the possibilities for circular fashion in commercial contexts and encourage wider industry adoption of sustainable methods.
The collaboration hopes to support the development of an industry ecosystem focused on circular solutions, increased cooperation on handling textile waste and improved routes for upcycling surplus materials.
The partnership will also provide a public platform to show how reclaimed and donated textiles can be transformed into market-ready fashion. It will also seek to engage organisations interested in solutions for surplus fabrics, deadstock and waste streams.
“Neuthread is a natural fit for Source Fashion because they bring together creativity, circular innovation and practical action in a way that genuinely resonates with the challenges facing our industry today,” explained Source Fashion event director Suzanne Ellingham.
“As our charity and design Partner, they will play a central role in the July edition, headlining the Source Catwalk with showcases that demonstrate how surplus, reclaimed and donated textiles can be transformed into commercially relevant fashion collections. Their ambition to build new partnerships across the industry also aligns closely with our mission to connect businesses, encourage collaboration and drive meaningful change.”
Visitors to Source Fashion’s July 2026 event will be able to watch Neuthread’s collections on the catwalk and speak directly with the team about its approach to circular manufacturing, waste reduction and inclusive employment.
