SOUTH KOREA: Textile Exports Slump To $7.4bn In H1
Textile goods exports from South Korea slumped 9.5 per cent year-on-year to $7.42 billion in the first six months of 2002 while imports rose dramatically, it was revealed on Wednesday.
Figures released by the Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KFOTI) showed that slide was compounded by a 9.8 per cent increase in textile imports to $2.43bn.
