TAIWAN: New Leather Footwear Standards Logo Revealed

Taiwan's Footwear Research Institute (TFRI) has unveiled a "Taiwan leather shoes" logo to be displayed on footwear with 60 per cent leather in a bid to separate them from cheap, low-quaility, imports. The logo features the drawing of a piece of leather with the shape of Taiwan in the middle. Manufacturers can sew or brand the logo on their shoes or hang it from the footwear.
