TAIWAN: Tai Yuen Textile Spends $1.1m On New Machines
Fabric giant Tai Yuen Textile Co has unveiled plans to invest $1.1 million in 30 new weaving machines at its Shandong production plant in Eastern China. The three-year-old factory makes denim and other textiles and currently produces around 1.8 million yards of denim a month. Tai Yuen's investment comes amid the anticipated deregulation of the mainland's textile industry.
