THE NETHERLANDS: Head Interim Earnings Dip To $74.9m
Sportswear and athletic shoe and equipment designer and manufacturer, Head NV, on Thursday reported a 3.2 per cent fall in first quarter revenues to $74.9 million from $77.4m in the year-ago period.
The Rotterdam-based company, which makes apparel, footwear and products for sports including skiing, diving and tennis, said that excluding 2001 sales of footwear, which are now a licensed product, revenues were up 2.1 per cent. It added currency fluctuations had also had an adverse impact on its results.
