UK: Cromwells Chief Says Sale Rumours Unfounded
Jeans retail giant Cromwells Madhouse has dismissed rumours claiming it is up for sale as "nonsense" and revealed the company is being grown with a view to eventual floatation. Co-founder Melvyn Reiss said suggestions business was on the market for £15m was due to retiring co-founder Peter Souber appointing Cavendish Corporate Finance to sell his shares. Reiss says he may buy the shares himself.
