Supergroup, owner of cult fashion brand Superdry, recorded a near-60% sales surge as the company continued to expand in the UK and overseas.
Retail sales were up 62.7%, boosted by further store openings in the UK, while wholesale revenues increased 53.9%, helped by expansion in international markets.
Five new stores were opened in the UK during the three months to 1 August, bringing the number of UK stores to 47.
Meanwhile, the company has also opened six new franchise stores across Europe, will shortly open a store in Dubai and has further openings planned for Taiwan and the US.
“We have made significant progress in the period and demand for our product, both in the UK and abroad, continues to be strong,” said Julian Dunkerton, Supergroup CEO.
