The American Apparel and Footwear Association (AAFA) has published the 10th edition of its Restricted Substances List, which addresses new product safety and environmental regulations in the US and around the world.
The list, which covers chemicals and other substances whose presence in a product is restricted through a government regulation or law, is designed to help the apparel industry navigate complicated domestic and international regulations and remain competitive in the global marketplace.
The latest release has been updated to reflect changes spurred by REACH, as well as other state and international regulations.
Covering apparel, footwear, and home textiles, the list can be downloaded for free at the AAFA Web site.
