The Sourcing at MAGIC trade show taking place later this year will highlight the supply chain network in the Americas and western hemisphere.
A special ‘Sourcing in the Americas’ initiative will showcase apparel, footwear, fabric and yarn mills, trims/component suppliers, and service providers, as well as promote business and investment in the western hemisphere.
‘Made in the Americas’ will also be a central theme of several key seminar sessions, including: Made in the USA – options and strategies for sourcing apparel and home furnishings; and Closer to home – sourcing in the Americas.
Francisco Sanchez, under secretary for the International Trade Administration at the US Department of Commerce, will speak about key issues ranging from trade to manufacturing.
“Building on the huge success we had last year, we felt it critical to return with another Americas pavilion and pummit to highlight Made in America products,” he said.
“As the largest textile and apparel event of its kind, this forum provides American businesses with a unique opportunity to highlight Made in America products to a global audience.”

Sourcing at Magic will take place on 20-23 August 2012 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
