USA: A&F Pulls “Offensive” T-Shirts Off Shelves
Youth-oriented apparel retailer Abercrombie & Fitch has agreed to withdraw its new range of T-shirts that feature stereotypical portrayals of Asians following a storm of protest from furious Asian-Americans. The Ohio-based company's pulled the tops from its 311 stores after complaints about images that include caricatured faces with slanted eyes and rice-paddy hats along with the slogan "Wong Brothers Laundry Service - Two Wongs Can Make It White".
