USA: Ameritex Yarn Files For Debt Protection

Ameritex Yarn, which supplies cotton yarn for the apparel and home textiles markets, has become the latest Burlington-based company to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The measure, announced on Friday, has been taken to help the company restructure its debt. It is not expected that any of its 215 employees will be laid off.
