USA: Apparel, Footwear On EU Hitlist
Clothing and footwear made by Nike, Levi Strauss and DuPont are among $2.2 billion worth of goods that could be hit by high EU import duties in retaliation for controversial US steel tariffs and quotas. The EU has compiled a "hitlist" of US goods that may be slapped with duties of up to 100 per cent from this summer unless the US agrees to pay compensation to European steel makers.
