The Elder-Beerman Stores Corp. (Nasdaq:EBSC) announced today a new department store to be opened in Jasper, Indiana. This store is the Company’s third new concept store announced for opening in 2000. The company expects to open the store prior to the Christmas selling season. The Company has announced two other new concept stores for the fall of 2000, which will be located in Howell, Michigan and West Bend, Wisconsin.
