USA: Ex-Nordstrom Chief To Head London Fog’s Merchandise Team
London Fog today announced its new merchandising and design team which is to be headed by ex Nordstrom marketing director,Frederick M Hackett."This new team is a key element in London Fog's overall business and marketing strategies, building on our legacy of innovation, quality and superior design," said Paul Shriber, president of London Fog. Leading London Fog's team is Fredrick M Hackett, director of merchandising and marketing. He has been in the trade for more than 20 years, including 14 years at Nordstrom department store. Most recently, he was product marketing manager for Nordstrom's private label Faconnable collection, heading development and merchandising of tailored clothing and dress furnishings for the US market. Mr Hackett will oversee all London Fog merchandising and marketing initiatives, focusing on design and brand enhancement, and retail program development. John Bauernfeind, senior designer for the men's division, brings more than 10 years of design experience to London Fog. Currently, he is responsible for uniting the brand's classic style with modern-day fashion trends for the men's line. Prior to London Fog, Mr Bauernfeind worked at Calvin Klein Inc, Vanderbilt, Gruppo Emanuel and Coach. Rounding out London Fog's new design team is Rene Commons, senior designer of London Fog's women's division. Ms Commons comes to London Fog from Pacific Trail, a division of London Fog Industries where she designed Ladies Active, Casual and Performance Outerwear for the past seven years.
