Goody’s Family Clothing, Inc. (Nasdaq/NM:GDYS) today reported sales for the fiscal month of May 2000 of $97.3 million, an increase of 11.4% over May 1999 sales of $87.3 million. Comparable store sales for May 2000 decreased 1.2% from May 1999. Sales for the first four months ended May 27, 2000, increased 11.
