USA: Guilford Mills Granted Payment Lifeline

Troubled textile maker Guilford Mills Inc has been given another four weeks to come up with a refinancing deal with its lenders as it bids to avoid filing for bankruptcy protection. The company, which owes around $270 million, announced on Friday night that its senior lenders had agreed to a delay in its latest interest payment until February 15.
