USA: Intimate Brands Posts Flat But “Better Than Expected” Sales

The owner of the Victoria's Secret lingerie chain, Intimate Brands Inc, today reported better-than-expected December results at stores open at least a year despite sales being flat. In a statement, the Ohio-based retailer revealed net sales for the five weeks ended January 6 rose to $1.14 billion from $1.11bn in the year ago period.
