USA: Kmart President Leaves – New Chairman Named

Troubled retail giant Kmart Corp on Thursday announced the departure of its president and the appointment of a new chairman as rumours grow that it may have to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The company announced in a statement the departure of president Mark Schwartz and said chief executive Charles Conaway had been replaced as chairman by James Adamson.
