The Talbots, Inc. (NYSE:TLB) today announced that Mr. Takuya Okada will retire as a member and Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors at Talbots Annual Shareholder’s Meeting on May 25, 2000. Mr. Okada, age 74, recently announced that he will retire in May as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of JUSCO Co.
