USA: Textile Lobbying Group Axes Jobs
The United States' leading textile industry lobbying group, the American Textile Manufacturers Institute (ATMI), fell victim to the jobs axe itself on Wednesday when it revealed its own round of job cuts. The Washington-based group, which represents about 200 textile makers and suppliers, said among the positions that will be lost are deputy executive vice president and chief lobbyist Doug Bulcao; chief economist David Link and membership director Ron Floor.
