Wilsons The Leather Experts Inc. (NASDAQ NMS:WLSN) today announced a 72% improvement in its first quarter results, reporting a net loss of $0.8 million, or $0.05 per basic and diluted share for the 13 weeks ended April 29, 2000, compared to a net loss of $2.7 million, or $0.17 per basic and diluted share, in the first quarter last year.
