VF Corporation has announced several new appointments to its EMEA leadership team, including naming Stuart Pond as vice president of supply chain operations.
Pond has served as vice president of supply chain for VF’s Asia Pacific region since 2018. He will report to Martino Scabbia Guerrini, VF’s president of the EMEA region, and succeeds Darren Miller, who recently announced his decision to leave VF for personal reasons after spending the past 28 years with the company.
The group has also named Andreas Olsson as regional general manager of Dickies EMEA, and Massimo Ferrucci as president of the Napapijri brand, in addition to his role of general manager of emerging markets.
In addition, Argu Secilmis has been appointed to vice president, product and marketing, at Napapijri.
“VF’s ongoing success in EMEA is driven by a strong, cohesive leadership team with extensive business management experience, industry knowledge, and a deep understanding of our company culture and vision,” says Scabbia Guerrini.
VF Corp announced last month it has fully allocated the net proceeds from its inaugural green bond issued last year, which totalled about EUR493m (US$594.8m), to 13 of the group’s eligible sustainability projects worldwide.
