VIETNAM: Namyang Starts Work On US$4m Factory
Work has begun on the year's first foreign-owned factory in Dong Nai Province. The US$4-million plant, which will provide 350 jobs and produce garments for export from July 2002, is wholly-owned by Korean company Namyang International and is located at the Amata Industrial Park. The project was turned around in record time, being licensed within 24 hours by the Dong Nai Industrial Zone Authority.
