VIETNAM: Study Sets Leather And Footwear Target For City
Exports of leather and footwear produced in Ho Chi Minh City should reach $1.64 billion in 2005, a new study claimed on Thursday. According to the Program for Footwear & Leather Development in 2001-2005, the city should give priority to fostering the growth of producers of leather materials to replace imports and of chemicals for the footwear and leather industry nationwide.
