The ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme has welcomed a chemical firm and a clothing producer as a contributor and new ‘friend’, respectively.

Turkish chemical firm Eksoy Kimya has joined the community as a ZDHC contributor in the chemical industry category. The ZDHC Foundation says Eksoy Kimy will play an important role in supporting the Roadmap to Zero programme.

Eksoy Kimya is focused on the textile industry, offering a wide range of products for textile treatment, dyeing and finishing. With strong R&D and textile field knowledge, the company works also on improving the dyeing process and colour match requirements.

Meanwhile, Polish clothing company LPP has joined the Foundation, as a ‘friend’ of ZDHC – a company that wants to learn more about the Foundation, using the group’s tools to enhance its own sustainable chemical management journey.

LPP is run as a family business, with its headquarters in Gdansk. Its strategy aims to reduce environmental impact by implementation of the goals in the Sustainable Development Strategy for 2020-2025.

In June, the ZDHC Foundation outsourced its InCheck benchmarking service to third-parties as it looks to accelerate roll-out of the tool and offer it at a more competitive price.
