The instructional videos cover a range of different aspects of the certification process such as claims and logos, scope certificates and transaction certificates and product registration. In addition, there are introductory videos covering the following standards:

  • Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)
  • Organic Content Standard (OCS 100 & OCS Blended)
  • Global Recycle Standard (GRS)
  • Recycled Claim Standard (RCS 100 & RCS Blended)
  • Responsible Wool Standard (RWS)
  • Responsible Animal Fibres (RAF)
  • Responsible Down Standard (RDS)

Max Goulden, managing director of Control Union UK, said: "We believe that by embracing sustainable practices, textiles businesses can not only enhance their brand's reputation but also contribute to a more responsible and environmentally conscious future. Through these videos, we are committed to providing those businesses with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the complex landscape of textile certifications."

CU pointed out that the textile videos can work as an introduction for businesses considering certification, empowering them to make informed decisions.

The videos can be accessed on Control Union’s online learning platform, along with a range of other free and paid videos providing insightful content for those seeking certifications in a wide range of industries.
