The expo, held from 18–20 November at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, recorded more than 5,000 visitors, marking an 8% increase compared to last year’s expo.

Co-located with the China Clothing Textile Accessories Expo, the event brought together over 800 exhibitors representing more than 16 countries.

Global Sourcing Expo Melbourne presented a range of products and sourcing options spanning apparel, textiles, accessories, footwear, homewares, and supply chain services.

An exhibitor, Kenny from Hungfat Keme said: “The Global Sourcing Expo Australia is the best in the world. I've been to Magic and major fashion fairs in London and Paris, but they're nothing like this. The organisers, led by Julie and her team, have done a fantastic job, and I will definitely come back next year.”

Industry leaders and subject-matter experts addressed how rapidly evolving AI technologies are influencing sourcing processes and product development. They also examined the growing focus on sustainability and responsible manufacturing.

Speakers also discussed the ongoing changes within e-commerce, digital retail, as well as the changes in sourcing practices and supply chain approaches.

“The Seminar Sessions were so great to sit in on, and I loved hearing from people who have real-life experiences that we can learn from,” a visitor said.

The next Global Sourcing Expo is set to take place in Sydney from 16 to 18 June 2026 at the International Convention Centre.
