Gryning launches AI-powered circular platform to cut fashion waste

Swedish fashion technology firm Gryning has introduced an AI-powered circular fashion platform to address overproduction and inefficiencies within the fashion supply chain.

The AI circular platform connects product development, dyeing, manufacturing, and post-purchase processes within a single responsive system. Gryning says it is intended to replace traditional resource-intensive methods.

At the centre of Gryning’s approach is its proprietary operating system, Gryning PRODUCE.

This system links customer orders directly to production facilities and logistics partners based in Hungary, Portugal, Lithuania, Sweden, and Spain.

By connecting all stages of the production process through one digital network, Gryning intends to enable real-time, demand-driven manufacturing, and reduce reliance on advanced bulk production that often results in surplus inventory.

Gryning CEO Siri Vikman said: “We’ve built the infrastructure we once wished existed. A system where resources, creativity, people, and technology work in sync - circular by design and responsive by nature. With this drop, we’re proving that speed, circularity, and quality can finally exist in the same sentence.”

The company’s new platform incorporates several tools designed to facilitate efficient fashion production cycles.

Gryning CREATE is an AI-assisted design environment that allows for rapid product development, helping brands generate new collections quickly.

Meanwhile, Gryning STUDIO functions as an AI-powered content engine capable of producing campaign imagery and video assets within minutes for marketing and editorial purposes.

By integrating these technologies, the platform supports brands in moving from concept to market while aiming to limit unnecessary inventory and large upfront investments.

The platform is accessible to both brands and creators, enabling them to connect directly to Gryning’s on-demand infrastructure and access its shared materials base for transparent European production at scale.

Gryning chief technology officer (CTO) Philip Arvidsson said: “We’ve built a true bridge between the digital and physical worlds.
