Rogers, who started at Gymshark in 2023 as supply chain director, moves to the new role with immediate effect and will now sit on the company’s executive committee, reporting directly to founder and CEO Ben Francis.

Most recently, Rogers served as interim general manager for sourcing and supply chain.

Francis said in a LinkedIn post that since joining the company, Rogers has made a "huge impact," helping to strengthen and evolve their supply chain.

“Matt has consistently demonstrated the leadership, judgement and ambition needed to build a supply chain that's ready for the next chapter of Gymshark. This is a thoroughly well-deserved appointment, and I'm excited to see the impact Matt will continue to have as we build the future of Gymshark together,” Ben Francis said.

Media reports indicate that Rogers’ new responsibilities cover oversight of the brand's entire supply chain, including sourcing across multiple geographies, manufacturing, freight, logistics, and customer delivery.

Before joining Gymshark, Rogers spent a decade at online retailer Asos, where his positions included group supply chain director.

According to his LinkedIn profile, his previous experience includes serving as head of inbound logistics at House of Fraser and as general manager at logistics company DHL.

Headquartered in Solihull, West Midlands, Gymshark is a fitness apparel and accessories brand with more than 22 million social media followers and customers in hundreds of countries.

The brand employs between 1,001 and 5,000 people and has customers in hundreds of countries.

In October last year, the company entered the US wholesale market through a partnership with Dick’s Sporting Goods.
