IFCO’s 8th edition to spotlight design leadership, market dynamics

The 8th edition of the Istanbul Fashion Connection (IFCO) is set to spotlight Türkiye's design leadership, influence in the fashion market, and the strategic opportunities currently available.

IFCO's 8th edition, which is scheduled for 20-22 August 2025, will present an extensive range of exhibitors, expertly curated trend displays, premier runway shows, and in-depth market analyses.

The event will host over 250 exhibitors from various sectors within the fashion industry, and it is expected to attract more than 30,000 visitors from over 100 countries.

Highlights of IFCO August 2025 (8th edition)

The Core Istanbul will be a feature of the exhibition, showcasing collections from 24 Turkish designers, including Arzu Kaprol, Mehtap Elaidi, and Hatice Gökçe.

Additional designers presenting their work include Aylin Çetinkaya, Bahar Korçan, Belma Özdemir, Ceren Ocak, Elif Cığızoğlu, Emre Erdemoğlu, Erkan Demiroglu, Gokay Gundogdu, Gökhan Yavaş, Gönül Altunışık, Mehmet Emiroğlu, Mert Erkan, Murat Aytulum, Özlem Erkan, Özlem Kaya, Tanju Babacan, and Yakup Biçer.

The womenswear sector in Türkiye will be represented by 125 exhibitors at IFCO. Menswear brands such as DS Damat, Kiğılı, JAKAMEN, Sabri Özel, UCLA, and NCS will also be present at the event.

The kidswear industry from Türkiye will be represented by 21 exhibitors.

Additionally, the Trend Area in hall 8 will offer insights into future trends in colours, silhouettes, and materials as curated by the Istanbul Moda Academy (IMA).

IFCO Shows will present a display of fashion with participation from womenswear, menswear, and kidswear brands.

This event also aids in advancing Istanbul's ambition to be recognised as an international fashion hub.

A seminar programme, spanning three days, will feature discussions on trend insights and industry perspectives.

The keynote speaker Tatiana Aldrich, WGSN Client & Trend consultant, will discuss macro trends for Autumn/Winter 26/27.

Panels led by industry figures like Belma Özdemir and Sinan İz will cover topics such as Gen Z's influence on fashion culture and sustainable luxury practices.

Digital technology's role in fashion retail will be another focal point with experts Almila Bayraktaroğlu and Esra Bağdat sharing insights on e-commerce and AI applications.

A panel titled "Digital Transformation Roadmap for Ready-to-Wear" will bring together representatives from İTKİB and KOSGEB along with sustainability experts to discuss the future of fashion commerce.

The February edition of IFCO saw a record attendance of more than 34,000 professional visitors from over 150 countries.

Hosted by ITKIB Fairs, an affiliate of the Istanbul Apparel Exporter’s Association, the event has welcomed around 3,000 companies and over 195,000 professional attendees to date.

Texhibition Istanbul, a fabric, yarn and textile accessories fair, will be held from 11-13 September this year.
