Joor's initiative known as the Ready-To-Ship Style digital event, aims to meet the changing requirements of the retail sector within the fashion industry.
The event, which takes place on the Joor Passport platform, presents 145 fashion labels such as Blumarine, Farm Rio, and C.P. Company, all of which have inventory ready for sale.
Joor says that retailers now have the advantage of sourcing styles that are in stock and ready for dispatch instantly, as opposed to the traditional model of ordering products with a six-month lead time.
The exclusive ‘Ready-To-Ship Style’ event offers high-end fashion brands a platform to display their most popular items, timeless pieces, and carryover collections. This event is strategically timed to enhance the visibility of their current inventory and stimulate sales before impending changes in tariffs take effect.
Joor Passport operates as a centralised online hub where global buyers can discover and purchase from international fashion weeks and specially curated trade show events.
To date, Joor Passport has facilitated more than 100 fashion events, drawing in excess of 475,000 retail visitors from 174 countries.
Nearly 1m products have been sold through this platform, with more than 10,000 brands participating in its events. The Ready-To-Ship Style event on Joor Passport will continue for an eight-week period until 8 August 2025.
Joor marketing SVP Amanda McCormick Bacal said: “We are delighted to introduce Joor’s Ready-To-Ship Style digital event, developed to address the evolving needs of the fashion retail landscape. Brands are seeking efficient ways to sell through existing inventory, while retailers require the agility to place orders closer to delivery, minimising risk by reacting to trends and real-time product performance.
“By focusing on available-to-sell inventory, this groundbreaking digital experience provides access to products before prices are impacted by upcoming tariffs, as well as a showcase for evergreen styles which have become increasingly vital to retailers’ assortments.”
Data from Joor highlights significant transformations within the luxury wholesale fashion domain over recent years with retailers now favouring shorter lead times for orders and are placing smaller initial orders while reserving a larger portion of their budgets for purchases within the season.
A notable change is seen in the average duration from when a wholesale order is placed to when it is shipped; this timeframe has reduced from 253 days in 2019 to just 86 days in 2024.
Furthermore, timeless or "evergreen" styles are playing an increasing role in business strategies — rising from 37% of gross merchandise value (GMV) on Joor in 2019 to representing 47% of GMV by 2024.
Anticipated tariff adjustments are also influencing the pace at which the wholesale fashion market operates.
According to Joor's recent Tariff Survey conducted in April 2025, a vast majority (85%) of brands foresee price increases due to global tariffs. This creates an urgency among retailers to procure and receive merchandise before these anticipated cost escalations take effect.
