The NCTO conducted officer elections at its annual meeting from 14 to 16 April, with Jay Todd, CEO and Managing Partner of Service Thread, elected as vice chair.
During the meeting, members also elected council chairs for each of NCTO’s five industry councils, which represent various segments across the US textile supply chain.
David Adkins of Lenzing Fibers will lead the Fibre Council, Tim Manson of Meridian Specialty Yarn Group will chair the Yarn Council and Allen Jacoby of Milliken & Company will head the Fabric and Home Products Council.
Gabrielle Ferrara of Ferrara has been named to chair the Finished Textiles and Apparel Products Council and Todd Bassett of Fi-Tech will lead the Industry Support Council.
The election also filled positions on the Board of Directors. The Fibre Council’s board members include Geoffrey Hietpas and David Poston alongside David Adkins.
The Yarn Council’s representatives are Justin Ferdinand, Chris Alt, Marc Doyon, Charles Heilig, Eddie Ingle and Tim Manson.
For the Fabric and Home Products Council, Allen Jacoby is joined by Leib Oehmig, Bill Rogers, Brian Rosenstein, Dan Russian and Walter Spiegel.
Gabrielle Ferrara is supported by alternate director Marisa Fumei-South for the Finished Textiles and Apparel Products Council.
The Industry Support Council is represented by Todd Bassett, Greg Duncan and Jim Reed.
Council chairs and several board members will serve on the Executive Committee. Elected were Justin Ferdinand, Tim Manson, Bill Rogers, Allen Jacoby, David Adkins, Gabrielle Ferrara and Todd Bassett.
Amy Bircher Bruyn has also appointed Chuck Hall (immediate past chairman), Anderson Warlick, Jay Self, Marisa Fumei-South and Jackie Ferrari to the committee.
Other officers for the fiscal year include Kim Glas as president and CEO, Robin Haynes as treasurer and Katherine White as secretary.
NCTO president and CEO Kim Glas commented: “I am pleased to announce NCTO’s 2026 officers, council chairs, and board and executive committee members. I thank Chair Amy Bircher Bruyn and Vice Chair Jay Todd for stepping into these critical roles.
“As we navigate a challenging environment, their leadership will be key as we advance policies to preserve preferential treatment under USMCA and CAFTA-DR, strengthen customs enforcement against import fraud, refine tariff policies with carve-outs for inputs and machinery not made in the US, expand the Berry Amendment and America-made procurement, and grow our Western Hemisphere co-production chain - while opposing measures that undermine a domestic supply chain supporting more than 450,000 jobs.”
