Source Fashion 2026 to embrace retro revival

Source Fashion, a UK fashion sourcing event, has announced a new retro-inspired brand identity for its next show taking place from 12–14 January 2026 at Olympia London.

The sourcing trade show also revealed its creative theme for 2026, titled Analogue Futures, developed in partnership with Trend Suite, a fashion trend agency founded by Tiffany Hill.

Drawing on influences from the 1980s and 1990s, Analogue Futures aims to facilitate discussions around fashion as a form of activism and expression while emphasising direct human interaction within the sector.

This shift is reflected in the renewed popularity of film cameras, Polaroids, cassette tapes, vinyl records, repair cafés, and limited-run collaborations.

Source Fashion event director Suzanne Ellingham said: “In a world obsessed with filters and speed, we are choosing to press pause. Analogue Futures is about valuing moments, memories, and creativity that lasts longer than a scroll.

“This really speaks to the mindset of slowing down, thinking about what we buy, how we make. It also taps into the degrowth models, reducing volumes, valuing what we make, and who makes it. Fashion has always been activism and expression, and this theme allows us to explore it in a way that feels real and connected to a growing consumer mindset.”

Last month, it was announced that Source Fashion's 2026 will be moved to an earlier than normal date to coincide with the start of the fashion sourcing calendar.

The event will feature design elements reminiscent of past decades while fostering deeper connections between attendees, including buyers, suppliers, and designers.

Furthering its commitment to fostering community within the textile and apparel sector, Source Fashion will introduce additional initiatives such as retail safaris and industry mixers.
