Source Fashion to relocate to Excel London as event scales

Source Fashion will relocate to Excel London for its July 2026 edition as it looks to scale internationally, with event director Suzanne Ellingham stating the move “reflects the trajectory we’re on.”

The next edition, which marks Source Fashion's fourth year, will take place from 7–9 July 2026 at the new venue, forming part of a broader expansion strategy focused on increasing scale, international reach and long-term stability.

The move follows continued commercial momentum, with the January 2026 edition seeing 12% growth. Source Fashion says three quarters of the July show floor are already rebooked.

The event says the need for a larger venue was driven by demand from both international pavilions and UK-based manufacturers.

Manufacturers from a wide range of sourcing regions have confirmed their return for the July event, including exhibitors from Lithuania, the USA, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Cyprus, Türkiye, France and Bangladesh. The responsible sourcing show is also seeing increased participation from UK manufacturers, reflecting both its international reach and growing domestic presence.

The decision to move to Excel London was also influenced by transport links and accessibility. The venue offers on-site parking and connectivity via the Elizabeth line, alongside a flexible layout designed to accommodate larger-scale international exhibitions.

Another reason for the relocation comes down to Source Fashion preparing to announce a new initiative later this month focused on supporting UK manufacturing and responsible sourcing practices.

Ellingham, event director of Source Fashion, explained: “As we move into our fourth year, relocating to Excel London reflects the trajectory we’re on. We have experienced consistent commercial growth, and the move gives us the flexibility and scale to support that momentum. It allows us to expand internationally, grow our domestic exhibitor base and evolve the show in line with the needs of the industry. This goes hand in hand with the investments we are making in our meetings technology, allowing visitors to meet the manufacturers they want to do business with. As we have grown, we are investing in technology to ensure our visitors can always find the people they want to do business with.”

Caroline Gourlay, head of B2B exhibition sales at Excel London, added: “We’re delighted to be welcoming Source Fashion to Excel this summer and to be supporting their wider growth ambitions. The show is one of more than 20 major events who have chosen to relocate or launch at the venue this year alone, drawn by our world-class facilities, dedicated team and connectivity through the high-speed Elizabeth line. The Hyve team have done a fantastic job to develop Source Fashion into one of the biggest B2B fashion trade shows in Europe, and we’re looking forward to be supporting them with their journey.”

Source Fashion connects audited manufacturers from global sourcing regions with retailers, brands and sourcing professionals seeking transparent supply chain partnerships. The event covers apparel, textiles, trims, components and full-service manufacturing solutions.

Alongside established sourcing markets across Asia and Europe, the show continues to expand its UK manufacturing base, reflecting increased interest in more regionally balanced and resilient supply chains.

The July 2026 edition will also see the return of its debate programme, aimed at supporting industry dialogue alongside sourcing activity.

Ellingham continued: “Our role is to facilitate meaningful trade conversations. As the industry evolves, we must provide the environment for growth and progress. Excel gives us the capacity to deliver that at scale.”
