The exhibition, which is part of Messe Frankfurt’s Texpertise Network, will take place at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, Mumbai from 19 to 21 November 2025.

Organisers expect participation from more than 215 exhibitors, including over 100 first-time participants. The event is set to feature more than 500 products and over 300 brands, with international representation from Belgium, Italy, Germany, Hong Kong, Sweden, Japan, and the US.

The expanded structure for 2025 includes the introduction of the Dornbirn Global Fiber Conference Asia to India for the first time. This will be scheduled as a pre-event on 18 November at the same venue.

During the three-day exhibition, the Indian Technical Textile Association (ITTA) will conduct the Techtextil Symposium on 19 November.

This will include knowledge sessions under the theme ‘Smart Solutions for Key Segments of Technical Textiles’ and address developments in geotextiles, agrotextiles, and industrial textiles.

Day three will see a conference organised by the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) India. Dubbed ‘Creating Tomorrow’s Circular Supply Chains: Technology, Collaboration & Capital for Tech Textiles and Plastics’, the conference will explore technology and collaboration within recycling and circular supply chains in both textiles and plastics.

In addition, the event will include a dedicated Sporttech Pavilion, organised in collaboration with Concept N Strategies, to focus on developments in sports and activewear fabrics.

Sporttech Pavilion will feature a conference titled ‘India’s activewear revolution scaling without compromise: Building a 360-degree ecosystem for premium, high-quality active wear that competes globally’. The session is expected to highlight materials used in sportswear and outdoor products.

The 10th edition of Techtextil India also extends into segments such as Mobiltech, Buildtech, and Oekotech.

Through these categories, organisers aim to connect manufacturers, technology suppliers, investors, and policymakers in one setting to discuss business prospects and share insights on advanced textile materials.

Participation from leading domestic firms such as Aditya Birla Yarns, Park Nonwoven, Pidilite, Khosla Profil, Welspun, Reliance, Sarex Chemicals, Sanathan Textiles, and Suntech Geo has been confirmed.

International exhibitors taking part in the expo include ACM, Autefa Solution Germany, Brückner Textile Technologies, Bettarini & Serafini, Georg Sahm, Innovatec Microfiber Technology, Procotex, Pulcra Chemicals, Reifenhäuser Enka Tecnica, R&M International Sales Corporation, Ring Maschinenbau, Textechno Herbert Stein, STC Spinnzwirn, VEIT Hong Kong, and Zoltek.

Industry organisations supporting Techtextil India this year include the Manmade & Technical Textiles Export Promotion Council (MATEXIL), Indian Technical Textile Association (ITTA), Department of Textiles (Government of Maharashtra), while the Dornbirn Global Fiber Conference Asia has support from the Government of Tamil Nadu as Partner State.

Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings executive director and board member Raj Manek said: “The Indian textile industry is witnessing a remarkable transformation driven by government support, technological innovation and global demand for sustainable materials.

“Techtextil India 2025 will not only showcase the latest in technical textiles and nonwovens but also serve as a knowledge-driven hub connecting policy with practice. Our new initiatives – the Dornbirn Global Fiber Conference Asia, Sporttech Pavilion, German Pavilion and ITTA Technical Textiles Seminar – align perfectly with the nation’s textile growth mission, enabling participants to explore next-generation materials, solutions and business collaborations.”
